Cleft Lip and Palate/Craniofacial Panel

Welcome to Sutter Medical Center, Sacramento's Cleft Lip and Palate/Craniofacial Panel. We are happy

to be a part of your child's care. Below you will find the schedule for your child's preliminary appointments.

 In order to obtain the full benefit of your panel visit each of these appointments must be completed prior to being seen by our physicians on Panel Day. Once all of these preliminary appointments are complete you and your child will return back to the clinic, on a separate day, for the Panel Day appointment.

 Missing any of these preliminary appointments can result in the need to reschedule the Panel Day appointment to a later date. Note: Panel Day appointments are available only one day per month.

 If you have any questions, or need to change any of your appointments, please call Sandy Ottley (Outpatient Admissions Representative) at (916) 733‑8146. You may leave a telephone message 24 hours a day.

 Please note that in order for our clinic specialists to evaluate your child they must be accompanied to all of the scheduled appointments with their parent or legal guardian. A copy of guardianship papers must be brought to the initial visit and will be placed in your child's chart.

 Preliminary Appointments:

 Your child's visit with the Core Team include evaluations by the:

               Cleft Palate Nurse Specialist

              Pediatric Social Worker

              Pediatric Nutritionist

              Pediatric Speech/Language Pathologist

appointment can begin promptly. You can expect this appointment to last approximately 3 hours.
